CoorsTek offers a line of special ceramics that take advantage of higher dielectric properties, such as GPS and microwave applications. These applications are becoming more extensively used in the transportation industry for location and guidance systems. Through CoorsTek, California Operations, El Segundo, we supply Teflon® fluoropolymer sealing systems for aerospace and industrial hydraulic equipment, fluid handling systems and transportation industries. CoorsTek, Arkansas Operations, produces rotary shaft seal rings for use in automotive water pumps and air conditioner compressors.

CoorsTek also produces thick film substrates for automotive electronic circuitry. CoorsTek produces ceramic components used in sensors that help control exhaust emissions and fuel mixture. Ceramics are the chosen material for such applications as metering device components for fuel injection systems. Once again, these ceramic materials offer thermal stability, mechanical strength and electrical performance necessary in harsh environments under the hood.
