CoorsTek to Present State-of-the-Art Igniter Portfolio at AHR 

Golden, Colorado, USA ─ CoorsTek, a world leading technical ceramics manufacturer and long-time expert in ceramic igniters, will present its portfolio for hot surface ignition (HSI) at AHR 2019, booth B2975. The AHR show takes place in Atlanta, January 14–16, 2019.

At AHR 2019, CoorsTek presents a family of ceramic igniters offering different ranges of style, durability, and speed to ignition temperatures. The CoorsTek igniter portfolio leverages strong material properties, including low porosity, high operating temperatures, and corrosion resistance.

The portfolio consists of three types of igniters:

• DuraGlo™ Igniters are rugged silicon nitride igniters designed to provide outstanding performance in a wide array of operating conditions.
  
  
• Mini-Igniter™ ignition systems are high strength, rapid heating igniters offering popular alternatives in the gas-fired heating market.
  
  
• Traditional ceramic igniters are alternatives to spark igniters. CoorsTek silicon carbide igniters have become an industry standard for gas heating systems.

The ceramic plaque applications include room and radiant heaters, camping grills, water and central heating boilers, and glass-ceramic cooking tops.
