CoorsTek to Showcase Technical Ceramics Portfolio for Power Electronics at PCIM 2020
CoorsTek, a world’s leading engineered ceramics manufacturer, will present its ceramic substrates, semiconductor and sensor components for power supply, industrial electronics, automotive, renewable energy, and household use at the PCIM show May 5-7, 2020 in Nuremberg. CoorsTek will be exhibiting in Hall 9 Booth 200 and featuring the following product lines:
- High-performance sensor components for ultra-sensitive pressure, temperature, oxygen and chemical sensors ensure performance in demanding service conditions or applications.
- Ultra-pure technical ceramic semiconductor components are some of the only materials which can endure the harsh demands of semiconductor processing’s combination of chemistries, temperatures, precision, and cleanliness. Technical semiconductor components are used in the whole cycle of semiconductor manufacturing, including semiconductor wafer & wafer processing and semiconductor fabrication (front end).
- Electronic circuit substrates for computer peripheral hybrid circuits deliver high-reliability performance for applications across wide range of environments and provide high resistance, thermal stability, and robust lifetime performance.
- Renewable energy technology:
- Silicon nitride bearing balls outperform traditional all steel bearing balls due to the tailored material properties and finishing that maximize the benefits of using ceramics in wind turbines, available in up to 50 mm diameters. The inherent dielectric properties of silicon nitride (Si3N4) provide electrical insulation in generator bearings — eliminating stray current damage and premature failure.
“With our wide range of technical ceramics, CoorsTek offers the optimal combination of performance and materials ensuring the value to our customers,” said Andreas Schneider, Executive Vice President, Europe. “Our extensive knowledge of technical ceramics and our precision engineering expertise make us a true partner to develop customized, high-performance materials together with our customers”.
