Fully Stabilized Zirconia

Composition

Fully Stabilized ZrO2

fully stabilized zirconia overview

Fully Stabilized Zirconia is applied in high-temperature applications that require strong thermal shock resistance, fracture toughness, and superior corrosion resistance. Additionally, Fully Stabilized Zirconia has the unique capability to allow oxygen ion transporting, meaning only oxygen ions can pass through its structure. This allows it to be used in applications like active membranes.

Example Applications

  • O2 detection sensor components
  • Thermal shock crucibles
