CoorsTek Golden Analytical Lab Achieves ISO 17025:2017
February 17 2020
CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT
CoorsTek is proud to announce that its Golden Analytical Lab has earned the first ISO 17025:2017 accreditation in CoorsTek’s history. For many years, Golden’s Analytical Lab has held a certification of accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 which has been coupled with multiple production facilities. This new accreditation of ISO 17025:2017 is a laboratory specific, stand-alone accreditation that ensures the accuracy and reliability of certified tests performed in the laboratory.
To achieve the ISO 17025 accreditation, CoorsTek partnered with A2LA, an independent and internationally recognized accreditation body. A2LA guided the extensive effort to gather the documentation and improve the internal quality management that was necessary to comply with this globally recognized quality standard. Many internal departments, including Global Quality, Operations, and R&D assisted with the process and ensured this accreditation would meet our customers’ needs, now and in the future.
To continue and grow the accreditation CoorsTek will submit to periodic internal auditing as well as annual audits from external auditors.
