CoorsTek Golden, 600 9th Street Facility Air Permitting

Updated: June 20, 2018
Golden, Colorado, is home to our global headquarters and 9th Street Facility, as well as multiple other manufacturing facilities. CoorsTek applied to renew its operating permit for our 9th Street Facility located in downtown Golden through the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The 9th Street Facility currently operates within the regulations set by CDPHE and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and we continuously monitor our air emission sources with updated technology to ensure they are operating properly.

We are committed to minimizing the impacts of our operations on nearby residents and are working closely with CDPHE and EPA during the renewal process. We will work collaboratively with these organizations to address any concerns and to continue to work within regulations set by the CDPHE and EPA.

Maintaining an open dialogue with our neighbors in Golden and near all of our facilities is incredibly important, and we appreciate the opportunity to shed light on this permitting process. The permitting currently sits with CDPHE, who will then pass it on to the EPA for a 45-day review period.

Please check this page for the latest updates on the permitting process.
