COVID-19 Update | Our Commitment to Employees

Our Commitment

As an essential critical infrastructure business, CoorsTek continues to produce vital components for healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, and other industries during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so very thankful for our dedicated team members who make the world measurably better through their contributions.

Our first and greatest priority during this crisis is ensuring the health and well-being of every member of our team. Across all CoorsTek locations we have implemented regimented safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. We continue to monitor and follow the most recent recommendations from the US Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and other international health agencies. Our definition of health and well-being goes far beyond the direct impact of this disease. Employees and their families are experiencing extraordinary challenges outside of work that impact every aspect of their lives, including school closures, financial struggles due to a family member’s loss of employment, and increased care for the sick and elderly.

CoorsTek offers all full-time employees comprehensive total rewards package that includes access to affordable health insurance and other wellness benefits. During this time of crisis, we are providing additional support to help our team members deal with added mental and emotional strain.

Expanded Leave Options
CoorsTek is offering one week of additional sick pay for any COVID-19 related illness or exposure. This paid leave can be used to care for a family member sick with the virus, or to care for dependent children who are out of school due to an unscheduled closure. For employees unable to return to work after one week of illness, options including PTO, and short-term disability.

Mental Health Offerings
Employees with our Kaiser Permanente health plan can access mental health services at any time without a referral. Through our other health insurance offering, Aetna is offering free access to Teladoc virtual mental health services now through June 24, 2020. Additionally, CoorsTek offers Marketplace Chaplain services to all employees. Chaplains provide confidential emotional and spiritual support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Family for Families
Family for Families is a non-profit organization that provides employee-to-employee support during times of crisis. Employees of Coors family businesses can apply for financial assistance through the program. Donations to the organization are matched 100% by the company. www.FamilyForFamilies.org
