Golden, Colorado – CoorsTek, a world’s leading engineered ceramics manufacturer, is proud to announce that it has been certified as a Great Place to Work™ (GPTW) company. This prestigious certification is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at CoorsTek through a third-party, anonymous survey.
The survey presented 60 statements and two open-ended questions related to the employee experience at CoorsTek with questions relating to their job, leaders, and colleagues. Additionally, the survey measured how people think the company is performing in the areas of credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
“With a focus on hiring and retaining the best talent and ultimately having our employees view CoorsTek as an employer of choice, we asked our employees to take this survey last month because we are committed to providing the most positive employee experience possible,” said Irma Lockridge, CoorsTek Chief People & Systems Officer.
In the U.S., 70 percent of CoorsTek employees agreed with the statement, “Taking everything into account, I would say CoorsTek is a great place to work.” On average, according to GPTW, U.S. companies only receive 59 percent of employees that agree with this statement.
The following areas received over 80 percent agreement from the employees taking the survey:
“This is a physically safe place to work”
“People here are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation”
“People here are treated fairly regardless of their race”
“I am able to take time off from work when I think it’s necessary”
“People here are treated fairly regardless of their gender”
“When I look at what we accomplish, I feel a sense of pride”
“I feel I make a difference here”
Though this is currently a U.S.-only designation for CoorsTek, the company intends to pursue global recognition in the future. You can learn more about the Great Place to Work® Certification and our results at www.GreatPlaceToWork.com.
