CoorsTek technical ceramic components provide a high level of confidence for medical OEMs for use in surgical and other medical devices, and implantable components. Both biocompatible and stable, technical ceramics can outperform metals and plastics in critical medical applications. Technical ceramics are infinitely customizable, providing the perfect material properties for critical duty applications including wear resistance, electrical insulation, RF opacity, and thermal stability.

Since 2005, CoorsTek Bioceramics has produced over 5.5 million critical ceramic implantable device components under an ISO 13485 certification and global regulatory compliance systems. With a focus on orthopaedic reconstruction, CoorsTek Bioceramics works with medical device OEMs to design and produce technical ceramic components for knee replacements and total hip arthroplasty. Additionally, CoorsTek Bioceramics manufactures ceramic components for spinal disc replacement, cochlear and neurological devices, brachytherapy components, and more.

With immense capacity and a vast array of manufacturing and finishing options, CoorsTek is capable of meeting extraordinary quality and tolerance requirements. Capabilities include high-precision injection molding, seal-less designs, brazing, and more.
